Opinion is an inevitable element of our task. It need be only an element, secondary to challenging ourselves to honestly consider how each piece of music fits into the criteria. We insist on being teachable in considering the views of others, so that we might come to a more informed perspective for ourselves. We aim to be objective in our opinions and ultimately arrive at the most comprehensive lists ever compiled.
